State the trial stage
Distinguish a bench screening sample, a bounded plant trial and a commercial first order. Each stage needs different material, documents and technical confidence.
Identify the exact family and proposed code. An assortment of unlabelled samples or a low-priced bulk order does not resolve which material will be qualified for repeat supply.
Estimate plant material from actual demand
Use calibrated commercial consumption, throughput and a planned observation interval. Include justified startup, transition and repeat checks rather than an arbitrary safety multiplier.
Allow for the separator's residence and relevant feed variation. A trial that ends before a thickener or recycle circuit stabilizes may consume material without producing an interpretable purchase decision.
Check packaging and receiving practicality
Ask which trial packaging is available for the code and whether it represents routine supply. Review unloading, sealed storage, partial-pack handling and the supplier's usable-period instructions.
Do not confuse a commercially available minimum with a technically sufficient test quantity. If the proposed order exceeds the useful evaluation plan, clarify how unapproved stock will be stored or handled.
Agree the decision before dispatch
Record benchmark, preparation, endpoints, sampling and stopping rule. Retain enough approved material for a controlled return to normal operation if the trial is unsuitable.
The sample qualification plan separates a promising jar from plant approval. Confirm charges, freight and whether successful testing requires a fresh commercial quotation.
A quantity request the factory can answer
Send application, expected as-supplied consumption, trial duration, destination, package constraints and remaining uncertainties. Ask the supplier to state actual available sample or order options rather than inferring a commitment from general market practice.
Use the PAM trial-quantity enquiry. No quantity, free-sample policy, fixed MOQ or guaranteed delivery is asserted here for Xinqi. The useful offer is the one that supports a safe, measurable trial and a traceable handover to the approved code.
Trial quantity evidence
| Checkpoint | Evidence to retain | Decision boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Bench stage | Record candidate identity, required repeats, feed conditions and the practical preparation quantities for a meaningful screen. | A small available sample is not proof that plant-scale performance or repeat-supply identity has been approved. |
| Plant stage | Estimate commercial demand over the observation interval, transition and justified repeat checks. | The trial quantity must allow representative residence and operation, not merely use a universal sample mass. |
| Purchase stage | Agree package, freight, charges if applicable and the separate decision required for a first commercial release. | A supplier's available minimum and the buyer's technically sufficient evaluation quantity are different questions. |
