Confirm the exact packages
Request net contents per unit, package type, dimensions, closures and proposed pallet arrangement for the named code. Powder bags and liquid containers impose different handling and space requirements.
Check the receiving plant's unloading and transfer capability. A load that fits an origin plan may still be unsuitable for the destination warehouse or feeding system.
Reconcile net and gross quantities
Compare unit count times net contents with the invoice quantity. Record pallets, packaging and other contributions to gross mass separately.
Ask how multiple batches are identified and reconciled to the packing list. A correct overall weight does not show that the right grade and lot were loaded into each unit.
Validate route and equipment assumptions
Have qualified logistics providers confirm the actual container or vehicle, permissible loading, route constraints and cargo arrangement. Do not infer allowable payload from a nominal container size.
Keep changes visible when pallet design, package count or transport mode changes. A previous loading figure is not automatic approval for a different product or booking.
Plan protection and evidence
Agree package condition checks, loading record, marks and the documentation needed for handover. Review moisture or temperature precautions using the exact product's supplied instructions.
The export packaging checklist connects the loading proposal with traceable receipt. Photographs can support that record but cannot independently prove composition or analytical conformity.
A payload exception sheet
List package count, net mass, gross mass, pallet count, relevant dimensions and the party confirming the transport assumptions. Mark any estimated quantity or booking constraint as unresolved until reviewed.
Send the order and receiving constraints through the PAM loading-plan enquiry. No fixed tonnes-per-container figure is promised here. Confirm the final proposal for the actual code, packaging and route before evaluating freight cost per usable delivered kilogram.
Load proposal evidence
| Checkpoint | Evidence to retain | Decision boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Count | Reconcile package count, net contents, pallets and batch allocation against the order lines. | An overall weight cannot establish that every package contains the correct code or lot. |
| Transport | Obtain route, container or vehicle and loading confirmation from the responsible qualified logistics parties. | Nominal container size and a past shipment figure do not establish allowable payload for a changed order. |
| Handover | Agree package condition, protection, labels, relevant records and exception review before dispatch. | Loading photographs support traceability but do not independently prove analytical conformity or final destination acceptance. |
